Lalo Garcia is a self-driven individual whose intention was to work his way through college with the desire to go into the medical industry and become a surgeon. His hobby of working on muscle cars directed him to get a job in the auto industry. Lalo found a job as a parts delivery person for a small independent auto parts store in Alhambra, California. Within two years, Lalo was in charge of the machine and is credited with over 200 engine rebuilds and countless valve jobs.
Lalo had fallen in love with the automotive industry and made a decision to forego college and build a career in this industry.
The owner of the parts store sold to someone else and Lalo decided to venture on his own. Shortly after, Lalo became an equal partner of “Bill & Lalo’s Auto Repair”.
Lalo was then offered a job with a Ford dealer and thus started his 25-year career with various new car dealers as either Service Manager or Fixed Operations Director.
During that time, Lalo acquired Master Certification as a Service Advisor, Service Manager, Fixed Operations Director and Customer Relations Management. Within those 25 years Ford Motor Company would send Lalo and an associate to failing dealers. Lalo to oversee Fixed Operation and his associate to oversee Sales. In one dealer, between Lalo and his associate, they were able to bring that dealer to win the Presidents Award on the second and third year of employ.
This training and the experience running these departments gave Lalo the confidence to consider running his own business. Lalo now uses that experience to run his business.
Lalo is focused on caring for his family and the families of his employees, which give him the drive to improve and grow his business.
Based on his training with Ford Motor Company, he has made projections for the direction he wants to take his company.
